Breast Augmentation is designed to enlarge your breasts, enhancing both breast shape and volume. This can help you feel better in your clothes, improve your cleavage, improve your body image, or improve your breast symmetry or balance. Breast augmentation is also popular after you have had children and you are left with post partum deflation.

During your consultation, Dr. Humble, a Houston Breast Implant Surgeon will discuss with you your surgical options, including the different incisions, type of implants available, and the pros and cons to each choice. With your input an appropriate surgical plan will be formulated that is unique to your individual circumstances.
Breast Augmentation surgery is performed in a certified surgical center under general anesthesia. An incision is made in the fold below your breast or around the pigmented portion of your nipple called the areola. After the dissection, the implant is placed. The surgery typically takes 1- 2 hours and you are sent home the same day.
You will be asked to bring a sports bra to be worn home after surgery. The bra helps with positioning of your implants and post-op comfort.
Discomfort after your breast implant surgery is managed with oral pain medications and close follow up will be performed by Dr. Humble. Breast implant massage/ exercises will begin a couple of days after surgery. No sutures have to be removed since the sutures typically will be absorbable.
Patients typically return to work 1 week after their operation and aerobic exercise can be restarted one month after surgery.
Your new breasts will achieve their final shape/ position approximately 2 months after your surgery. For more information about our Houston/ Sugar Land Breast Augmentation call 281-313-0555 to schedule your free consultation or email us any questions by clicking here.
