What is Perlane?

Perlane is a safe injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) that can be injected in one face to correct age associated loss of volume. Perlane is categorized as a HA facial filer that is used to temporally augment soft tissue by building up one's cheek bones, filling in laugh lines, or replacing facial fat that is lost during the aging process.
What to expect during the Perlane injection:
Patients are given a local anesthetic to provide painless injection of Perlane. The injection process takes approximately 15 minutes. The results are immediate.
Instructions after Perlane injections:
Cold compress can be used for comfort. Avoid aspirin, St. John’s Wort, and high doses of vitamin E for one week after treatment.
How long does Perlane last:
Perlane typically lasts 6-9 months.
