Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery is proud to present our newest Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mirtha Gonzalez! Dr. Gonzalez is Nicaraguan by birth, Texan by choice, and Plastic Surgeon by training. Exposed to medicine at an early age through her father’s pediatric practice, Dr. Gonzalez knew early on that she would become a doctor. Dr. Gonzalez obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Houston. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Inspired by the technical demands of the operating room and the ability to change lives with her hands, she pursued and completed a general surgery residency in the prestigious Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Fulfilling a life-long passion to treat patients and to help improve their physical and mental well being, she elected to continue her training and completed her plastic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System.

Awesome place 👏 👏 👏. The whole process and procedure went smoothly. Dr. Mirtha Gonzalez is highly knowledgeable and informed, I will say she didnt leave any stone untouched, she explained the process to me from A-Z.
Now to the entire members of staff, the smile on their faces when you walk into to the office is wonderfully amazing.......... In short, I LOVE THIS PLACE........ EXCELLENT

I am now 3 months out from surgery and I’m loving my results!!!! I highly recommend Dr Gonzalez! At first I didn’t know what implant size to go with but she helped me choose the perfect size for my body! I’m so glad I took her advice because I love them ! I 100% recommend you go with Dr Gonzalez she was just so nice, professional, and very helpful ! The office staff were all so nice and always had a friendly smile!! Definitely will go back for other treatments in the future!!!!

Dr. Gonzalez has been such an amazing surgeon, Erika the receptionist (sorry if I have her title wrong) is always so kind and reminds me of all my appointments! They are super understanding when I’m coming in a couple minutes late and always welcome me with a great smile!
