How does the CoolSculpting and liposuction procedure differ?
CoolSculpting – This procedure will remove excessive fat cells from under the skin, without surgery. It’s a non-invasive procedure that requires no cutting, stitching, or anesthesia. It uses a special tool that will suck in and cool certain rolls of fat to a freezing temperature. Your body will then naturally rid itself of the frozen injured cells via natural processes. Results are typically noticeable after a few weeks, and the final results within 3 months.
Liposuction – Small incisions are required to utilize a narrow and long tool for suction, which vacuums out fat cells, therefore, mechanically removing them from specific areas of the body. Local anesthesia or sedation will be required.
