What happens after the surgery of otoplasty?

After care is relatively simple and involves being gentle with your recently operated ear and applying antibiotic ointment over the stitches. Most patients will have their sutures removed in two weeks at their follow up appointment. We also recommend avoiding direct sun exposure and immersing (bath tubs, pools, oceans, etc) in water while your ear is healing.
