Lip Augmentation

Lip Augmentation in Sugar Land, Katy, and Houston, Texas

The interest in Lip Augmentation has sky rocketed in recent years.  Were Lip fillers have been used in the past for women with thinning lips due to the nature aging process, it is now most commonly used for volume addition.  In most cases, Lip augmentation is best accomplished with fillers made up of hyaluronic acid.

One may choose to augment only the white roll, the line between the wet dry border.  This is used to stop one's lip stick from spreading/running in the vertical lines around ones mouth.  The fillers used for this purpose can be very thin for a subtle difference, or a thicker variant to add more definition to the border.

Volume addition can be added to the augmentation of the white roll or used as a stand alone approach to achieve one's cosmetic desires.  The amount and thickness of the fillers result in different amounts of volume or plumpness to one's lips.

After Lip Augmentation with fillers the lips have a tendency to swell for a couple of days.  If you have ever bumped your lip and developed a "fat lip",  then you may realize that any trauma to one's lips can result in swelling.  We recommend ice for 24 hours that is applied over gauze to lessen the swelling.
