At Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery we perform photofacials using intense pulsed light (IPL), vascular lasers (577 nm diode), nanosecond lasers (1064 nm Q-switched ND-Yag) or ablative Erbium Yag lasers depending of the degree of damage or the lesions of concern.
As a board certified dermatologist performs these treatments, you can rest assured that your brown spots will be correctly screened to minimize changes of incorrectly treating melanomas or other types of skin cancer.
