Neck Lift

Neck Lift in Sugar Land, Katy, and Houston, Texas

Neck lift surgery is not just for women – it is a popular plastic surgery option for men as well. As men age, they may develop loose, sagging skin and excess fat around their neck and chin area, which can make them look older and less masculine. Neck lift surgery can help to address these concerns and provide a more defined and youthful appearance to the neck and jawline.

During a neck lift procedure, a plastic surgeon will make incisions around the ears and under the chin to access the underlying muscles and tissues. Excess fat and skin will be removed, and the remaining tissues will be tightened to create a more sculpted and defined contour. The procedure can be customized to meet the specific needs of each patient and can also be combined with other procedures, such as a facelift or chin augmentation, for optimal results.

Men who are considering neck lift surgery should choose a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon who understands the unique needs and concerns of male patients. Good candidates for the procedure are typically in good overall health and have realistic expectations for the outcome of the surgery.

Recovery from neck lift surgery can vary depending on the extent of the procedure, but most patients can expect some swelling, bruising, and discomfort in the days following the surgery. It is important to follow the post-operative instructions provided by your surgeon and avoid strenuous activity until cleared to do so.

Overall, neck lift surgery can provide a safe and effective way for men to improve the appearance of their neck and jawline and restore a more youthful and defined contour. If you are considering neck lift surgery, schedule a consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and determine if this procedure is right for you.

FAQ

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive skin treatment that combines microneedling and radiofrequency technology to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. This process reorganizes the skin's building blocks in a natural anti-aging process

How is a treatment with Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 uses interchangeable microneedling tips to deliver customizable treatments. Most patients need 1–4 treatments spaced 4–8 weeks apart to allow skin and tissue to heal. After the initial series, patients usually only need one maintenance treatment per year.

How does Morpheus8 work?

Morpheus8 uses state-of-the-art technology to administer 24 silicone-coated needles beneath the surface of the skin and into the superficial fat. The depth of penetration depends upon the area being treated and desired results. Once the needles are placed, the device delivers a pulse of radiofrequency energy that tightens the soft tissue, coagulates the fat and stimulates the production of elastin and collagen.

What to expect with Morpheus8?

A Morpheus8 treatment takes approximately 1 hour. During the treatment you will feel heat and pressure on the treatment area. You will be asked to arrive early to allow time for numbing of the area. We use a topical numbing cream to numb the area and minimize discomfort. Other pain-control options are available including Pro-Nox and Mesoram. Pro-Nox is a patient-controlled inhaled analgesia system that delivers a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture for the relief of pain and anxiety. The effects of Pro-Nox wear off in 10-15 minutes allowing patients to resume normal activity right away including driving. Following treatment, skin may be slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. Redness should subside within the first 24 hours following treatment. Expect up to 3 days of social downtime. While improvement is noticeable after 1 treatment, to achieve optimal effect, 3-4 treatments are typically recommended
